A Citizen X8 Cosmotron electronic pocket watch from 1971. This uses the Citizen 0840 electronic balance movement, which keeps very good time. The watch has a chain and clip. The box is not original and looks like it was converted to store this pocketwatch by a previous owner, though it is charming and is part of the watch's history, so we kept it with the watch. The case is AGP gold plated with a brushed top and polished bottom. The case is approximately 38.1mm wide.
The brush on the case is in nice condition. The crystal top is in nice condition, though there is a crack on one edge though this does not obscure the view of the dial/hands. The chain looks to be the original from comparison to other examples, though the clip looks to be aftermarket. Service history is unknown, though the watch is keeping very good time. A very charming time piece.
