Early quartz movement |
A Seiko calibre 43 pendant watch, complete with leather pouch, cord, calibre 4300 booklet, hard Seiko box and outer box. The case is made from 925 Silver with a lovely brushed finish. The watch manfacture dates to April 1977, and would assume low production numbers with a serial number ending 0004.
The case and crystal are in lovely condition, with just a few marks around the slot for removing the case back; the brushed finish looks great. The leather pouch, cord, and boxes are also in a nice condition.
Calibre 43a is an early and very solid quartz movement made by Seiko and rated to a respectable +/- 20 seconds per month. This example is fully working to original specification, and is in very clean condition for the age.
